Superintendent's Welcome Back to School 2025-2026

August 25, 2025

On behalf of all of the staff in the Sharon Public Schools, I want you to know how excited we are to welcome all of our students back to school! Last week, our mentor leaders and administrators welcomed over twenty five new staff members to SPS. The first day for new staff was highlighted by a bus tour of Sharon led by our friend and volunteer tour guide, Chief Coffey from the Sharon Police Department, accenting the collaboration between SPS and public safety in our town. This morning, I greeted a dedicated, highly skilled, and experienced Sharon Public Schools staff back to school. The energy and enthusiasm was palpable as we all look forward to the first day of school for students on Wednesday and an awesome 2025-2026 school year.

As a SPS faculty, we want to ensure that every student in our community feels a strong sense of belonging as they walk through our school doors each and every day. We also aim to develop each student’s deep conceptual knowledge and essential skills including critical thinking, collaboration and complex problem solving skills. We will relish the opportunity to foster strong relationships with our students and families so that the children of Sharon can flourish in the classroom, artistic spaces, and the playing fields. We appreciate you all partnering with us in service to your children.

I realize that the beginning of school brings a lot of information, from the classroom teacher, school administration, and school nurses. Please be sure to pay attention to any emails that may come from your student’s school. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to your school directly:

Sincerely,
