The Massachusetts Public Records Law requires every agency to designate a Records Access Officer (RAO) to assist requestors in obtaining public records.
The Records Access Officer for the Sharon Public Schools is Dr. Joel Jocelyn, Assistant Superintendent, Requests for Public Records can be submitted to jjocelyn@sharonschools.net

On behalf of all of the staff in Sharon Public Schools,  I want you to know how excited we are to welcome all of our students back to school. We are committed to the families we serve and want to ensure that every student in our community feels a strong sense of belonging as they walk through our school doors each and every day.  We also aim to develop each student’s core conceptual knowledge and essential skills while, most importantly, nurturing their curiosity, passion and purpose as individuals.

We know it is important to create strong relationships with our families so that our students can flourish in the classroom, and we appreciate you all partnering with us in service to your children. I realize that the beginning of school brings a lot of information, from the classroom teacher, school administration,  and school nurses.  Please be sure to pay attention to any emails that may come from your student’s school.  If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to your school directly:
